Franchiserechner is a service of Bartuma Solutions, an insurance intermediary within the meaning of Art. 19a of the Swiss Health Insurance Supervision Act (KVAG) for compulsory basic health insurance (KVG). Supervisory authority for basic-insurance intermediation: Federal Office of Public Health (FOPH/BAG). In addition, Bartuma Solutions is listed in the FINMA register of insurance intermediaries (reg. no. F01574567).

Using the comparison service is free of charge. If a change of basic insurer is concluded through our advice, we receive a compensation from the insurer; for basic insurance this compensation is capped by law at CHF 70 per insured person (industry agreement on insurance intermediaries, declared universally binding as of 1 September 2024).

Advice is provided by our own team. Your data is never sold and never shared with third parties for their own advertising. Technical service providers process data solely on our behalf as processors (see the Privacy Policy). Only if you decide to apply for a policy do we transmit the necessary application data to the insurer of your choice.

Franchiserechner is a private service and not affiliated with the federal authorities. The official premium calculator of the Swiss Confederation is priminfo.admin.ch.

This website compares Swiss compulsory basic health insurance (KVG) using official FOPH data and, for 2027, reviewed public releases from insurers whose FOPH approval has been verified. The insurance year, sources and any partial coverage are identified alongside the results. All figures are provided without guarantee despite careful maintenance; your insurer's policy and premium notice are solely authoritative.
